Experience the interactive #ArtKarnival at SM City North Edsa Skygarden

Bask in the "Art Karnival" at SM City North Edsa Skygarden 

Do you happen to pass by the Skygarden located at SM City North Edsa? If yes, chances are, you'll be able to experience or perhaps has taken a glance or good look at some of the works of art from different Filipino young artists like Anjo Bolarda, Bato, Blic, Garapata, Jeffrey Jay Jarin, Tyang Karyel, VOV Studio and Whooop. 

This summer, SM City North Edsa takes us all to a very interactive and fun experience of visual arts. Not an ordinary thing that we usually see in malls, so I guess you better check these out mall goers! This one-of-a-kind art adventure is in partnership with Vinyl on Vinyl, one of Manila's hippest contemporary art galleries. 

Just recently, the #ArtKarnival was launched to the public and I was one of the privileged ones, who was able to cover and had the first glimpse of the exhibit. 

Known tv personality, model, host, sports and arts enthusiast Gaby dela Merced 

We were a bit surprised when Gaby's name was called by the event host, we were not certain if she was referring to the same Gaby that we've known as an ex-housemate from PBB (Pinoy Big Brother) and a Formula Three racecar driver. Little did we know that she's also inclined to artworks itself.

Gaby dela Merced was just simply clad and talked a lot of arts sense during #ArtKarnival launch in SM City North Edsa Sky Garden

Instead of the usual ribbon-cutting, Gaby and the SM City North Edsa officials has launched the #ArtKarnival outdoor fair in Skygarden by putting colorful stickers to the Art Karnival bold letter display. 

This is me! 

At the same time, we also had the freedom to put our own stickers in any artistic way we can! See, that's sounds fun huh, and very interactive!

Each piece in the exhibit was carefully selected and placed in areas that would bring not only the art piece itself to life but the surrounding area as well. As mall-goers walk the meandering path, installations pop-out at them, drawing their eyes to their surroundings stimulating interest. The whimsical almost fantasy-like world perfectly complements Skygarden's tenents.

The #ArtKarnival experience at SM City North Edsa Skygarden was different, fun and interactive. You just have to take time to go through it and best advice is, do it when the sun is not at its peakest point so you'll enjoy more of this outdoor fair which started last April 21 and will go on until June 12, 2017.
