Coffee has been part of every family's daily routine. Just like NESCAFÉ, it has been a sort of a coffee "lingo" for us, Pinoys. When you mention coffee it does directly mean Nescafe, right? What I really love about this coffee brand, is its magical aroma. I guess it's NESCAFÉ's top trademark that other brands don't possess (no offense meant, peace!). The very scent of NESCAFÉ coffee's aroma sends out soothing and relaxing effect to our senses.

A study has been made about the aromatic effect of coffee. It is very encouraging to recognize that, in a particular study of international scientists led by Han Seok-Seo of Seoul National University, they have found out that, with just the coffee aroma itself, it may help in reducing the stress level activity of the brain thus, promoting other health benefits such as its antioxidant properties.

Just recently, NESCAFÉ Philippines has given back to all of its consumers and fans by celebrating the NESCAFÉ Grand Fans Day held at the Music Hall of SM Mall of Asia, Pasay City. The said event is in connection with NESCAFÉ Philippines journey to 2 million likes on its Facebook page. Having reached that immense number of Facebook likers, was a tremendous record for the popular coffee brand. It took them two and a half years to reach 1M likes whereas the next million was only earned less than a year, 303 days to be exact. But more than the number of fans, the page values its reach and its interactions more, because these fans don’t just like, they engage, they love.

Among the full-packed thanksgiving event by NESCAFÉ Philippines were special appearances of personalities like Youtube sensation and comedienne, Petra Mahalimuyak, Frank Magalona, host and sports enthusiast  Drew Arellano, and live performances of Pinoy bands, Callalily, 6 Cycle Mind and Urbandub.

“Each of our posts has an average reach of over 500,000, which is achieved by having over 100,000 fans talking about our products and our promos. Facebook has allowed us to create a personal relationship with each of these consumers and have a two-way dialogue with them. Each comment is an insight on how Nescafé is perceived, and we take the feedback into consideration with each product and activity we launch,” says Christophe Stern, Business Executive Manager of NESCAFÉ in the Philippines.

For NESCAFÉ Philippines, digital has gone from being a “nice to have” to being a “must-have” in its digital strategy. This is evident in online apps and activities that launch in conjunction with offline launches and promos. Its NESCAFÉ Points Kapihan not only engages fans, it also rewards with premium items and even tickets to its latest Fans’ Day to celebrate 2 million likes and 2 million moments.
