Sen. Manny Pacquiao is one of Japan-based ISPS Handa Ambassadors 

People's Champ, Senator Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao was appointed one of ISPS Handa's global ambassadors just recently. ISPS or International Sports Promotion Society was founded by Haruhisa Handa, a Japanese charitable organization that hs gained renown for its active involvement and sponsorship in major global golf tournaments and has also played a major role in the promotion of blind golf worldwide. 

Among its global ambassadors are former New Zealand Prime Minister Sir John Key, former Prime Minister if Ireland Enda Kenny, international Rugby icons Dan Carter, Francois Pienaar and Mike Tindell, as well as top rank golf pros including Lydia Ko, Ernie Els, Rafa Cabrera-Bello, Lexi Thompson, Michelle Wie, Thorbjorn Olesen, Emiliano Grillo and Lee Westwood.

Held recently at the posh Makati Shangrila Hotel, the acclaimed boxing icon, Sen. Manny was recognized by ISPS Handa and the official turnover of the contribution worth $100K to the senator's charity foundation, the Emmanuel & Jinkee's Heart Foundation also happened. 

A whooping $100K was donated to Sen. Manny Pacquiao's Foundation, the Emmanuel & Jinkee's Heart Foundation last October 17, 2018 at the Makati Shangrila Hotel by the ISPS Handa officers Ms. Midori Mizayaki and Mr. Kevin O'Brien.

"It is a great honor to be an ISPS Handa ambassador. I was able to meet Dr. Handa earlier in Japan this year, and we have become good friends since then. Since we are both enthusiasts, we share the same vision of using sports to bring people together and promote world peace, and I am happy to know that this is the same vision that has inspired ISPS Handa since it began."
