Enchong Dee and Ria Atayde

I've been out of the country once, and guess where did I travel? Of course, to one of our favorite tourist destinations in Asia... Hongkong! So where do you wish you'd go to when travelling to HK? There's Disneyland right? There's the Ocean Park ...and a lot more!

What if a new and exciting channel would showcase differenr spots in Hongkong which are not frequently visited by tourists and will be explored by four different and famous celebrities in Southeast Asia with Enchong Dee as our representative!

Here's the thing, Enchong was asked to look for an adventure buddy who's also a go-getter and is comfortable in speaking the English language. Then in an interview, he had elimimated some of his friends trimming down to Ria. First, he asked his friend Ria, if she wants to go to Hongkong and then she said yes, so he told her everything about the new show, and according to Enchong, Ria replied to him, saying... "I'm the best person!" And so, thwu packed everything they needed and headed on to Hongkong!

In a separate interview with the pretty and talented Ria, she had mentioned that , "Enchong was assigned to pick a travel partner. And he asked me. They just took us to places na Hindi typical for Hk tourists. So I experienced mga low stuff. Low end dining. Low altitude activity. Low tech activity. Si Enchong naman high. So high end dining. High altitude. High tech."

More Updates about Ria:

She plays the boyish Baste. Cousin of the Christian Bables (business partner and best friend of Echo in the story) and she works for them.
She just finished doing one of the official MMFF 2018 entries. "The Girl in the Orange Dress" with Jericho Rosales and Jessy Mendiola. " So now Lang I’m about to be free again," she added.

Asked what she can say about her experience in Hongkong for the Kix Channel's  "Extreme Ends,"  and working with her friend Enchong, she said, "Good. I enjoyed and got to know him better. It’s different. They’re strict when it comes to time."  Ria also guested on "The Crawl"  on Lifestyle TV Ph with Matteo Guidicelli as his travel partner.

Four celebrities from four Southeast Asian countries, popular actor and swimmer Enchong Dee represents the Philippines, taking on this adventure with his good celebrity friend, Ria Atayde. These two friends are adventurous travellers well-suited to the exciting contrasts selected for Extreme Ends, where each episode features a different celebrity and their special guests facing a different 'extreme' theme such as Day & Night and High & Low.  In this way, viewers will see Hong Kong in a new light as each episode highlights extreme opposites to showcase the fascinating contrasts, non-stop intensity and distinctively trendy attributes of Hong Kong.

“We’re very pleased to be working with Hong Kong Tourism Board once more, and excited to give audiences a different perspective, showing them the contrasts and duality of Hong Kong. With each of the celebrities and their guests going through specially-selected activities, viewers also get to see a different side of their personality, revealing the relationships they share - this is a wonderful formula that invites viewers to travel with them on every adventure,” said Betty Tsui, Vice President, Programming – KIX and Thrill, Celestial Tiger Entertainment.

“We are glad to partner Celestial Tiger Entertainment again, given the success of The Ultimate BROcation. Hong Kong remains as Southeast Asians’ destination of choice for its diversified dining options, shopping experiences, nightlife and events; as well as thrilling adventures overseeing breathtaking natural sceneries. The celebrities from the different Southeast Asian countries in the series will definitely bring new insights and inspire the audience to create their very own authentic experiences when they visit Hong Kong, and discover Hong Kong like a local,” said Raymond Chan, Regional Director, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong Tourism Board.

Sharing his experience, Enchong said, “I was not expecting KIX’s Extreme Ends to take me on such an experience. Starring in this adventure reality show really gave me a chance to try new and exciting things. From playing my first virtual reality game to zip lining in Hong Kong, it really blew my expectations away. Going on this adventure with Ria and hearing about her own experiences after was amazing. We did end up comparing whose trip was better though. Naturally it was mine!”
