Kambal Sirena Final Episode

A one-of-a kind fantaserye or telefantasya, "kambal Sirena," is nearing its finale episode. Started early March of this year, the tv series which the Filipinos had grown to love and been a part of our daily GMA Telebabad experience will soon bid goodbye and swim away...

Had a rare chance to visit their set location in a town in Bulacan and here's what I've seen, Kambal Sirena herself, Louise delos Reyes during a pre-scene set-up along the national road of Bulacan.

We first interviewed Wynwyn Marquez, who were sitting on her comfy chair cuddling the stuffs like the cutey frog doll, which according to her, it was given by her friend and fellow kapuso Joyce Ching and the Winnie the Pooh blanket from Alden Richards.

Playing the role of Macy has been a great challenge for her. she admitted that as an actress, she doesn't want to be be branded as a "kontrabida," as much as possible she wants to be a versatile actress and try different roles.

When asked about if she's to decide, what kind of ending would she prefer for her character as Macy in "Kambal Sirena"? She jokingly replied, "Maging sirena kasi gusto kong magsuot ng buntot hahaha!" But seriously, she said that, she wants to have a dramatic exit for her role as Macy.

Next we get to interview also Mike Tan who plays the role of Jun, a typical, shy-type, timid rural guy who fell in love with Alona (human) played by Louise delos Reyes

According to Mike, the scenes that they were taping for that day were so dangerous because they were doing a lot of chasing scenes. And when asked what would he miss about "Kambal Sirena" since its nearing its end, he replied," 'Yung grupo. 'Yung mga tao, etong production, iba kasi 'yung experience with Louise, AJ.. nakaka-miss. Nakakatuwa yung katulad nila Ms.Tessie (Tomas), Ms. Nova (Villa), kasi nag-iinput sila eh nagiging personal sila s'yo. 'Yung mga knowledge nila... "

On the other hand, Mike still believes in the conventional way of courting a girl. He believes that, it's really important for him to get to know the girl deeply. He doesn't believe in "love at first sight" but rather believes in "crush at first sight." Flowers, chocolates, visiting to the girl's house are only some of his humble ways in courting a girl.

We were able to see the lead star of "Kambal Sirena," Louise delos Reyes' fondness on making loom bands during our set visit at their taping. In between breaks, she sits there

Having said that first line, when asked about her feelings towards the ending of "Kambal Sirena," Louise explained that, "S'yempre madami akong naging firsts dito sa 'Kambal Sirena,' madami akong natutunan. Actually ishe-share ko lang din kasi this is my first show na talagang nagte-taping ako mag-isa. Bukod dun, kasi paalagi kong kasama mommy ko, pero ito talaga, ngayon lang ako naging independent talaga na I'm fixing my stuff, ako 'yung gumagawa ng baon ko, mga continuity ng mga damit. Ngayon nakiki-mingle na ko with my co-stars, with the staff. Dito rin ako natutuong mag-swimming, na-conquer ko 'yung fear ko, naging diver ako eventually. so sobrang memorable ng show na'to as in. Iba talaga 'yung bonding namin eh. Naging matibay kami as a group, as in sisterhood, brotherhood lang."

One of her favorite scenes in "Kambal Sirena" which she considers memorable was when Alona and Pearl met when they were in Bataan. Another one is Alona and jun's scene, when Alona finally admitted her love for Jun, according to her, the innocence of love was evidently present in that during that scene. She also considers Kevin and Perlas' "kulitan" moments among her favorite scenes.

She's truly miss a lot things about "Kambal Sirena." The foodtrips, bonding moments, cooking and "kulitan" moments.

Next stop, was Papa Aljur's unit at the Natividad Residence, inside the Secret Garden property.

Aljur admitted that he can never forget his scenes with the dolphins during the whol"e taping experience of "Kambal Sirena."

When asked what would he miss about "Kambal Sirena," Aljur (Kevin) replied, "Dalawa, mamimiss ko 'yung Ocean Adventure, 'yung relationship ko with the dolphins, kasi nakapag-build na ko ng emosyon eh, na-touch ako sa kanila. Di lang sa akin pati mga dolphins kasi di sila basta-basta lang susunod. Nag-invest talaga ako ng time dun. Mamimiss ko 'yun 'yung mga samahan namin ng trainors. Tapos 'yung pangalawa 'yng cast ng "Kambal Sirena." Halos lahat kasi mami-miss ko 'yung mga tao dito. Lagi kaming tumatakas, tapos lagi rin kaming hinahanap, hahaha mahilig lang talaga kaming kumain sa labas."

He will truly miss everything and everyone who were involved in their tv series "Kambal Sirena." He plans on pursuing his next album after "Kambal Sirena," and will take up Business Ad in one of the universities here. It was one of his utmost dreams to really finish college, he admitted.

After our interview, Aljur was so accommodating and generous to sing a song for us one of his compositions he just recently made. I'm pretty sure everyone will get to appreciate and love this upcoming and yet untitled track which according to him, will be included in his album. We've promised AJ not to divulge about the rest of the song's concept. Just one thing that am sure you'll also experience once you've listened to it, you'll be in an LSS mode.
