The very controversial birthday concert of Kiel Alo

The ultimate "Hugot King," Kiel Alo, has celebrated his birthday with a concert and with a "big bang!" Meaning... his "Ako Naman" birthday concert turned out to be a very controversial one. 

Kiel started the evening with his fave "hugot" songs. We've known Kiel for I guess more than two years now that's why our dear Kiel  has opened the night with Jordin Sparks' "This Is My Now," he sang it very heartfully... 

That's what I like best about Kiel, it always seems like every song he delivers, it is filled with emotions that you yourself could even feel what he's going through ( if there really is). People wouldn't be tagging him as the "Hugot King" if he isn't like that. 

Kiel with "Jukebox Queen" Ms. Eva Eugenio

Kiel and Ms. Eva had a cute and funny spiels about "Jukebox Queens" in the Philippines and their respective popular songs that are frequently played in Jukebox. The "Jukebox Quuens" aside from herself, she referred to were her close friends and "kumares" namely Ms. Imelda Papin and Ms. Claire dela Fuente. They had a strong stage presence given the age gap and the difference in generation. Ms. Eva sang her very famous song, "Tukso," that wowed the audience accompanied by her antics.

Philippines' counterpart of the legendary Frank Sinatra, is no other than, Mr. Jun Polistico. Truly indeed, it was a night of legends and beautiful music! They both sang "Hallelujah" which was soulfully rendered by the two men on stage. Mr. Polistico still has it! He even sang his "My Way" version which he tagged as "He did it God's Way."  Kiel has personally asked Mr. Jun to be part of his birthday concert that is why he was so overwhelmed.

The birthday boy couldn't be so happier because he was joined by his so-called brothers otherwise known as his fellow artists handled by Jobert Sucaldito. Aside from the solo numbers of Kyle, Carlo Mendoza and LA Santos, the whole gang did a medley of "Eraserheads," The Dawn," "Rivermaya" and "Kamikazee."

Orville Tornido 

"Pilipinas Got Talent" contestant, Orville Tornido provided more fun and entertainment by doing his famous antics as he lipsynchs  "Dahan-Dahan Lang,' and "Listen," The crowd went gaga over him as he throws Nissin biscuits to the audience. He kept the fire burning!

One of the highlights of the concert is Kiel's "pasabog" or explosive number with the MK University models. First time to see him in a hot sexy number, he admitted that he really wanted to do this number to showcase his other side and he was happy to do it most especially in his birthday concert. 

Now, back to the topic of being a controversial concert...

It is very visible that Morissette Amon and Janno Gibbs are supposed to be Kiel's special guests, but it turned out that, Morissette walked out of the concert while Janno Gibbs was a no-show.

Apparently, Morissette was requested  by the producer Jobert Sucaldito to just come up the stage , just wave hi or hello to the audience just to let the expectators know that she was there, she was really present but instead, she hurriedly went out of the dressing room backstage. Two of the sponsors of the show Ms. Daisy Romualdez and Ms. Annabelle Rama  reacted to that scenario. 

After the concert, the whole truth of the story came out and that we were informed that Morissette and Kiel were both interviewed by Mario Dumaual before the concert started then Mori was seen very uneasy and stammering as she answers questions about her love life and family situation, Right after the said interview, she was seen banging her head against the wall.  We still do not know the reason yet but it's up to you how you analyze the whole situation.
