They say opposites attract, and based on my own experience, I do believe that! Do you think these two awesome duo would meet that? Well, it's for you to find out!

Take for instance, Christian Bables, his movie partner Cora, describes him as a very shy actor in contrast to her laud and bubbly personality. The two admitted that, at first Christian was intimadated by Cora's strong personality but after a while, they became so good two-gether and they've blended, and clicked!

Multi-awarded actor Christian Bables returns to his comedic roots via this romantic-comedy movie to prove his versatility as an actor.
This November, find out the secret ingredients to a healthy relationship in the film Recipe For Love, Regal Entertainment, Inc.’s, latest offering that stars multi-awarded actor Christian and Pinoy Big Brother Lucky 7 ex-housemate Cora Waddell.
It can be recalled that Christian garnered numerous awards because of his role as Barbs, the trans cross-dresser in the 2016 critically-acclaimed film Die Beautiful.
For the said role, Christian bagged the Best Support Actor trophy at the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival, Best Supporting actor award at the 40th Gawad Urian, and the Best Supporting Actor award at the 35th Film Academy of the Philippines Luna Awards.
Most recently, Christian was awarded the Best Main Actor at the 2018 Hanoi International Film Festival for his moving performance in the film Signal Rock.

Currently, Christian is also part of the most-talked about ABS-CBN prime-time teleserye Halik.
He is also proud to be working with highly respected film directors.
For his first major role on television, Christian worked with the late Maryo J. delos Reyes before he passed away in an episode of Magpakailanman. He beams with pride to have worked with Direk Chito Rono for the critically-acclaimed film Signal Rock.

He feels lucky to work with Direk Jose Javier Reyes  for Recipe For Love.
“Ang sarap sa pakiramdam,” he said about working with these respected directors.
“They will let me fly as an actor na hindi na work na ginagawa mo.
“Para akong naglalaro na lang sa set kasi sobrang tiwala nila sa gagawin ko don sa character ko kung paano ko siya isasabuhay.”

He described his working relationship with Direk Joey in this movie as “collaborative.”
He also takes pride about the lesson of the movie for viewers about relationships.

This time, Christian finally gets to top-bill in his own romantic comedy movie.
Christian explained that comedy is close to his heart because he is naturally a comedian.
“Hindi malayo sa akin. I must say yung sense of humor ko malakas din naman talaga. Mahilig akong magpatawa sa mga kapatid ko, sa mga kaibigan.
“Hindi naman ako nangapa sa pagbitaw ng punchlines. It’s something that’s part of me,” he added.
To make his portrayal convincing, Christian said that he paralleled his personality with his character.
He explained that this helped him make his portrayal appear natural.
“Ang sarili kong process, ipa-parallel ko ang sarili sa character ko sa pelikula. Hinanapan ko ng common ground.

He said that he studied his character, and just like in any role that he portrays, Christian said that he gives his heart. “Nilagyan ko siya ng ng puso gaya sa lahat ng character na ginagawa ko, mapa-drama, mapa-comedy.”

Directed under the helm of the talented director Jose Javier Reyes, Recipe for Love explores how rich and colorful love is between two people. One minute it allows you to experience cloud nine and then it brings you to the pit of sorrow the next minute.
It shows us that love is not just one emotion but an experience of different feelings.
Nonetheless, it is what makes the whole experience worthwhile.
Recipe For Love tells the story of Calix, the chef of an upscale Filipino restaurant, who crosses path with Val, a food blogger and aspiring magazine editor.

While Calix and Val start off on the wrong foot, they eventually hit it off and romance starts to brew.
Eventually, just like the dishes that they cook and review, Calix and Val discover the different tastes of being in a relationship, such as its bitterness and sweetness. But will they still be able to come up with the perfect recipe for love so that they will stay together?

Pretty preggy in white! That's Cora Waddell who plays Val, the food blogger in "Recipe For Love."

Cora Waddell dishes out what she thinks is the true recipe for love based on her own personal experience.

Coraleen became a household name when she became a housemate in Pinoy Big Brother Lucky 7 in 2016.

She eventually entered showbiz and appeared in ABS-CBN shows.

Cora finally gets her big movie break by being one of the lead stars of Recipe For Love, the upcoming romantic-comedy under Regal Entertainment, Inc.

She stars opposite multi-awarded actor Christian Bables.

Asked how she feels about finally getting a starring role, she beamed, “Sobrang exciting, syempre naman, na mabigyan ka ng chance na ipakita kung kaya mo.

“And maswerte ako na yung leading man ko ay si Christian. Very experienced siya. Sobrang seryoso siya sa craft niya, kaya ako yung swerte don. So he helped me a lot,” she said.

Being entirely opposites, will their relationship still have a happy ending?

Cora, who recently tied the knot, firmly believes that two opposite people can still make a relationship work, based on her own experience.

“My parents are total opposites. My husband is also my opposite,” she revealed.

“Syempre, we also have things in common, but I think being very, very different can be inspiring for other people, not just looking for love, but it’s inspiring for yourself. Kasi, you’ll never stop learning.”

She explained that when two people in a relationship are different, they can learn a lot from each other.

“Being with someone totally different from yourself can show you a different perspective na hindi mo talaga makukuha kung pareho kayo ng ugali.”

The actress also answered when asked what she thinks is the recipe for love.

“Unang-una, masasabi ko, don’t be hungry. Stay well fed,” she said followed with a hearty laugh.

“Because pag gutom ka, mas mahirap talaga, kahit anong away yan kung gutom ka, it will get worse if you’re hungry. Don’t tackle your problems on an empty stomach.”

She added, “Syempre, patience and unconditional love. Yun lang talaga ang importante: kahit ano man ang mangyari, you guys are a team and you’ll stay together, you eat together, you sleep together, you and you’re in this together.”
