The modern Pinoy hero, "Tsuperhero" is Derrick Monasterio coming this November on GMA Network

Kapuso Heartthrob Derrick Monasterio plays "Tsuperhero" in GMA Network's latest show this November on Sunday Grande 

Just recently, we got the chance to cover the presscon of the upcoming comedy adventure, fantaserye of Kapuso GMA Network. The show's entitled, "Tsuperhero," from the root word tsuper which means driver, and of course combined with the word hero, you'll be quickly guessing what the newest teleserye's plot is.

Kapuso heartthrob Derrick Monasterio is just a regular jeepney driver and a "sweet lover,"  who happens to find luck or got the biggest responsibility of his life when he encountered a mysterious and strange object from the planet Ganernia. He plays Nonoy opposite Eva, who's played by Bea Binene in the story. 

The Kapuso loveteam #DerBea will make our Sunday nights exciting and fun as Bea's role is a barker who's character is nothing compared to her real personality. So expect that every scene will always be something to look forward to and we get to witness how their love story blooms.

During the presscon, Derrick was very grateful to GMA 7 for entrusting him the role of Nonoy, “It is my first time to portray a role like this na isang superhero. Nakakakaba talaga siya pero at the sametime nakakachallenge din kaya mas pagbubutihan kop o talaga yung trabaho ko. Nakakaflatter din po kasi dahil ako yung napili ng GMA to portray this role. So I have to work hard for this project.”

The very talented Michael V. has conceptualized the whole story, and he's also included in the cast as the rude "Maku" ftom the planet Ganernia. 

Joining them are respected actor Gabby Concepcion as Sgt. Cruz, Nonoy’s ninong who works as a cop; Alma Moreno as Aling Martha, Nonoy’s half-blind and loving mother; Albert “Betong” Sumaya as Julius, a small time crook; Philip Lazaro as Mang Pedi, the owner of the karinderia where Nonoy usually hangs out; Miggs Cuaderno as Bok, the alien who gives Nonoy his powers; Valentin as Polding, a cook;Annalyn Barro as Anna, the probinsyana niece of Mang Pedi who Nonoy becomes friends with; Jemwell Ventenilla as Choy, the street kid that Nonoy and Eva come across with; Kuhol as Mong, the tactless yosi vendor.
