Kalokalike: Leveling Up with the ratings of "It's Showtime"

The say "Imitation is the highest form of flattery." I guess this is so true for those who are open-minded and entertain the idea that being imitated by other individuals is just fine and doesn't mind being copied; in short, they view it in a very positive perspective.
Isn't it "parody," which is synonymous to copy, duplicate, mockery, xerox, imitate, etc. is one of the trends in social media today? Oh well, Pinoys have been known to have perfected the craft of imitation (modesty aside). And I commend ABS-CBN's noontime program "It's Showtime" for being humble enough to be an instrument in allowing the public to be aware of the so-called "celebrity wannabes." It is one of the most-talked about portions of the show entitled "Kalokalike" which started last January of this year; had gained wide audience since then and the viewing public became especially more interested with sensational celebrity "kalokalikes" of Coco Martin, Robin Padilla, Manny Pacquiao (the 3 were even featured in Korina Sanchez's 'Rated K'), Kim Chiu, Joey de Leon and Daniel Padilla.
And now, "It's Showtime" segment had evolved into "Kalokalike Level Up" while it's also leveling up with the show's ratings, FYI; the semi-finals round had started last May 20, 2013 and will continue to run until May 31, started up with 44 finalists. Grand finals will be held on June 1, so better mark it on your calendars peeps. The grand winner will get to take home a cash prize amounting to PhP300,00 while the first and second runners-up will be going home with PhP200,000 and PhP100,000 respectively. Who do you think would be the Ultimate Kalokalike?

“Kalokalike Level Up” is just one among the many surprises
and new segments “It’s Showtime,” the country’s number one noontime show, has
in store for its loyal "madlang" people. As Showtime Business Unit Head said, "It's Showtime is the "preferred" noontime show of today." They've given the wannabes a rare chance to have their "moment" and access limelight in their own respective ways, the talent management agency of ABS-CBN had been handling their bookings and win or lose, the contestants will still have something to start up with since they've been signed up for six months with the program.

Entertainment, fun, sportsmanship, camaraderie, selfless vision, gratefulness, fame and amazing memories are the most significant elements being indicated in "Kalokalike."
