Securing ourselves while Travelling

Travel, tour, journey, cruise, long trips are only few of the most enjoyable, likeable, worth-doing, extravagant terms that we are fond of doing or including in our bucket list. Relate much?  :)) You see, there's a different kind of "high" or amazing feeling that we feel every time we travel, right?! I know majority of the millennials are really into travelling... touring and jetsetting in and out of the country. No matter how expensive the whole tour package it is, they can still manage to achieve it and enjoy every tiny detail of their trip. That's why they are practicing the art if YOLO (You Only Live Once) as they say.

Of course, they have a point, even I, myself, I am a "pro-travelling" type of person, most especially when we do it together with our loved ones or relatives and friends. But wait, don't you think there is something that's been often overlooked or neglected every time we travel? Do you feel secured or protected? I mean like having a travel health insurance for yourself.

This reminded me when we traveled to Hongkong way back 2013 with my mom, my grandma and aunt. It was a very overwhelming experience for me. My first travel outside of our dear country, Philippines. We were so excited and very eager to finally visit my cousin Weng in Hongkong, who was such a very good host, travel buddy, and tour guide and of course not to mention that she is such a sweet and pretty lady.

What I was also excited about going  and checking out the fashion streets of Hongkong, is to see such amazing outfits, dresses and clothing line such as this one...

So going back to our tour of Hongkong, one time, while we were strolling in the busy and fashionable streets of the city, my grandma had a minor accident. She tripped while walking and lay flat onto another man (fortunately). You see, if it weren't for that man, I guess he's a local resident there, thank God for him, our grandma wouldn't be seeing the rest of our trip to Hongkong and us, included. If it weren't for that stranger, our grandma could've fell flat on her face may be acquiring broken bones or ribs or any dislocations. To make the story short, she only attained bruises on her knee which made her difficult to walk (poor loli ;(  ) thereby cutting our shopping and fashion-hopping short. That was really bad and very unintentional. Well, accidents really happen right? And we were not prepared for that.

You see, my point is, what if the accident wasn't minor at all? Are we prepared? No, definitely. So it has come to my thinking that, we have to secure ourselves everytime we travel. And I know there's an insurance company in the Philippines that has the most comprehensive international travel health insurance that they can offer. It's the Malayan Insurance

So if I were you, I'd start checking out their website. They are not only concern about health, it can be a lost passport, lost luggage, accidents abroad, third party property damage—these are just some of the unforeseen but possible inconveniences and emergencies that can occur when travelling. Protect yourself and have worry-free travels with Malayan InsuranceTravel Master.

Travelling is indeed an extravagant activity or may be a sort of a pleasureable habit for some of us, but we must also take into consideration the fact that, we should also put our feet forward and think about our safety, our protection, it is our right to secure ourselves first when we travel or else (knock on the wood three times) something untoward might happen to anyone which is totally out of our control and we wouldn't want to come unprepared for that right? Think about it!!!

Happy New Year everyone! Have an amazing life and be safe always!!!

Thank yah amazing peeps 'til our next!
