Regal Films' Mother's Day Offering... "My 2 Mommies" open this May 9

"My 2 Mommies" stars Paolo Ballesteros, Solenn Heussaff and introducing  Marcus Cabais 

This Mother's Day, Regal Films, Inc. has a different kind of movie offering, not the usual or conventional one but a more modern-type of family set-up. "My 2 Mommies," stars the King of Make-up Transformation, Paolo Ballesteros, the sultry siren Solenn Heussaff together with the Diamond Star .Miss Maricel Soriano and introducing in the movie, the very vibrant and smart Marcus Cabais. The said Mother's Day film was helmed by Eric Quizon, the famed son of The King of Comedy, no other than, the late Dolphy. 

Just recently, we attended the "My 2 Mommies" blogcon held at Mother Lily's Valencia Events Place. It was attended by Paolo, direk Eric and Marcus. The story started when two best of friends, Solenn (Monique)  and Paolo (Manu), had an engaged into one drunken night. Monique was fully aware that her best friend is a gay man, but still confessed her love for him. The unexpected pregnancy of Monique happened. 

Without knowing that he had sired his best friend, Monique re-surfaced after several years with their son, played by Marcus. Manu's hideous life pivoted automatically gathering instant reactions most especially from his aunt, the youngest sister of his mom, Ms. Maricel Soriano. Monique has also returned with a foreign husband, the tech-wizzard, played by Billy Ray Gallion who was once started in an indie film here in the Philippines in the movie, "Nabubulok," and also was one of the cast in the U.S. series, entitled "Lost."

After that big reception from Monique, can you imagine the big turn-out of events of their lives most especially of Manu's?!  Thus, the unique story of a modern family set-up has begun. 

The cast describes their movie as timely and relatable. Life in his case, he has a daughter named Keira from his ex-girlfriend and is now studying in an international School in Baguio City. He sees to it that he is always there whenever she needs him and whenever possible.   Paolo and Solenn had worked together in "Eat Bulaga," so this will be their reunion project and their first movie together. 

Direk Eric has all but praises for one of the lead stars,  Paolo, he shares that he could see the greatness of his late father as a comedian, through Paolo. He recalls shooting one particular scene but it took them several takes and each take was uniquely delivered by the actor, very much like "Dolphy."  So there's a lot more reasons that we should watch this Regal Films' Mother's Day offering. It also entails the importance and relevance of the LGBTQ community today.

The film also stars Joem Bascon, Manu's love interest and Dianne Medina, Monique's younger sister. Showing in theaters nationwide, this May 9, 2018, Wednesday...
