Wish 107.5's First Wishcovery Grand Champion is a Wild Card wishful Princess Sevillena

Princess Sevillena from Makati City (holding the oversized Bria key)  was voted the first Wishcovery grand winner last March 27, 2018 held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Wishcovery (Your Road to Stardom Starts Here!)  is Wish 107.5's online singing competition that was launched last September 2017. Tagged as the newest of its kind, this competition aims to discover aspiring musical talents with exceptional voices and star-like charisma from across the  country. 

From the original 20 singing hopefuls---collectively known as Wishful 20, Wishcovery showcased weekly vocal battles on board the Wish 102.5 Bus.  Scores were determined through a week-long power viewing component (15%), and through the  resident reactors'cumulative scores (85%). 

The original 20 were trimmed down to the four contenders, while the elimimated Wishfuls were given the chance to return to the competition's wild card round.  And that's when princess Sevillena came to the picture. She was the last girl to qualify to compete for the first grand champion of 107.5's Wishcovery.  

Wishcovery's Wishful 5's supporters filled up the Smart Araneta Coliseum

Last March 22, we were surprised to see how the fans and supporters of the Wishful 5 showed their enthusiasm and outstanding attendance at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. You can see five groups all cheering for their respective hopefuls who come from different  parts of the country.  

There were three rounds respectively, meaning the Wishful 5 get to perform three times with their own choice of song.  For a fresh start... 

Hacel Bartolome is the band vocalist from Cavite.  She sounded like her idol Aiza Seguerra her voice is so soft and very pleasing.  Hacel can also play the guitar and she hopes to do a collab with Aiza, have a solo album and do a solo concert in iconic venues such as the Smart Araneta Coliseum. 

Carmela Ariola, she's now based in Batangas and is a singer/songwriter and a multi-instrumentalist. She sounded like her idol Regine Velasquez-Alcasid.  Her voice and pattern's is so clean, well-controlled and pleasing.  

Princess Sevillena of Makati City.  Aside from singing, she's also into songwriting and beatboxing.  What I like most about her is that she never treated the whole program as a competition, she just performed well to her heart's content and was very obvious that she's enjoying what she's doing.  Very positive.  

Kimberly Baluzo from Daet,  Camarines Norte in Bicol.  The youngest among the 5 Wishfuls, sje's only nineteen with a mind of a twenty-five year old woman :) Honestly,  she has the full potential of making it to the top.  She performed well and her voice quality and aura resembles Janella Salvador.  Hope that she'll be given a big opportunity in the Entertainment scene.  

Last but not the least is Louie Anne Culala who hails from San Ildefonso,  Bulacan.  Aside from singing, she also loves to play the guitar and piano. Louie Ann has a very powerful voice and she definitely knows her cues, her moves,  her forte because she can really own the stage once she's up there.  Great stage presence.  

Iconic singers Christian Bautista,  Erik Santos and Marcelito Pomoy performed to add absolute entertainment. 

Wishcovery resident reactors, our very own King of R&B Jay R,  The Company's Annie Quintos,  renowned hitmaker Jungee Marcel and host of Wishcovery, R&B Prince Kris Lawrence heat up the stage.

After the three amazing and heart-pounding performances of the Wishful 5, the time has come for the announcement of the Grand Champion and runners up.  

Princess Sevillena,  the wild card wishful emerged as the first Wishcovery's Grand Champion.
