Kikomachine Komix Creator, Manix Abrera signs up with Epik Studios

Manuel “Manix” Abrera graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from the University of the Philippines Diliman. His comic strip Kikomachine runs from Monday to Saturday in the Philippine Daily Inquirer, and currently appears in twelve book compilations published by Visprint. His webcomic News Hardcore! appears weekly on GMA News Online. He also has wordless graphic novels titled “12” and “14”. 

KIKOMACHINE KOMIX is his most famous work. It is a compilation of comics strip created, written and illustrated by Manix Abrera from the Philippine Daily Inquirer. The strip is about a hilarious group of students in U.P. Diliman. It now has 13 books filled with various stories about friendship, love and life but with a taste of existentialism. This compilation is first published by Visual Print Enterprises in 2005.

Apart from being a creator of various comics, Manix Abrera also became a product endorser and has appeared on TV commercials. He is often invited as a guest speaker in different schools. Just recently, he held a successful solo exhibit at Shangri-la.
