Arjo Atayde: Of Passion, Generosity and Perseverance

Arjo Atayde : "The Actor" 

The name Arjo Atayde is I think, synonymous to being "an actor" in its real sense and meaning. Yes, he is so versatile that's why we do feel carried out more often by every character he portrays. Being an effective actor I guess, is like having your audience be affected and involved in and out of the project per se. What I mean is, the people who follows the story get affected and even reacts when they see the actor who plays a certain character. You see, that's how effective Arjo is, right? Any type of role given to him, he'll do it with  flying colors! 

His passion for acting never stops and it doesn't end in there. Like for example, he has shown exemplary performance in his previous soap, "Ang Probinsyano," as Joaquin, the prime antagonist of Coco Martin who plays Cardo. Maybe aside from having obtained it naturally, since he is the son of veteran and award-winning actress Ms. Sylvia Sanchez, he still has the ultimate passion for acting and aims to do it on his own and innovate his craft at any point.

During one of our bonding and hay nights, we didn't even have a clue ( but honestly we are all wishing to see and talk to him), that he would surprise us. He came in all-dressed up and beaming his beautiful smile with his dimples as bonus! He was on his way to a an evening appointment but still, he spared us a moment and stayed with us for a  brief period of time. We had enough time to talk to him and ask him everything lwhat we thought we ought to learn from him. 

You see, he is very generous of his time and appreciation, that mere gesture had said it all! We all felt humbled by his pure and authentic act of appreciating our work. Aside from thanking , commenting, liking and sharing our blogs and social media posts, he had the time and effort to let us know how he feels deeply thankful for all our posts about him. 

During our interview with him, he was also generous in giving high regards to his collegues in "Hanggang Saan," most especially to Yves, her mom Sylvia of course, to Ariel Rivera, to her leading lady Sue Ramirez and everyone in the whole cast. The tv series is currently making good raves and high ratings which airs weekdays after "Asintado," during Kapamilya Gold in ABS-CBN. 

As our interview with him progresses, you can feel how much he has grown as an individual and as an actor. His mom did a really good job in raising her children Arjo and Ria who is also making her own name in the local showbiz scene. As they say, what they have become is only the result of having good parents. Arjo is very humble and respectable. If I were to ask, I can also sense that he has also the makings and the potential of a good public servant. He speaks of the truth, of the reality, he makes sense, he is deep, he is kind and considerate but at the same time I feel that he has a lot of discipline. His perseverance not only in his acting career but through his life is so admirable.
