Superstar Duets host Jennylyn Mercado with the celebrity contestants during the show's grand presscon
Considered to be the country's first of a kind celebrity singing competition as it is a mixture of music, fun and laughter! With all those wacky line up of celebrity contestants, expect a sure fire riot of comedic talents and of course their singing abilities.

The Ultimate Star Jennylyn Mercado was given a very challenging task (like she said). It is to host the celebrity duet show-- "Superstar Duets." She actually finds it very hard for her to control laughing while being serious with her hosting job. Jen shares, "Ang saya nila kasama kasi bawat isa sa kanila may kanya-kanyang character," Jennylyn said. "Every time magkakasama kami ang saya-saya nung set namin, walang dull moment."
Kapuso viewers will have an extraordinary and fun-filled TV viewing experience which they will truly enjoy because of the surprising and exciting one-of-a-kind duet performances from eight Filipino celebrities and surprise international superstars every Saturday night.
The panel of judges is headed by comedian^RV host Allan K, Traffic Diva Aicelle Santos and Asia's Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista.

The eight celebrity contestants will be paired with impersonators of international superstars.
Throughout the show, Jerald's singing partner will be Celine Dion-esia (Celine Dion impersonator); Pekto is paired with Zia Later ("Zia"); Joross is teamed up with Adellantada ("Adelle"); Nar is matched with Samboy Smith ("Sam Smith"), Osang is partnered with Justin Tatlongbibe ("Justin Bieber"), and so on.
Jerald attests that the impersonators really sound like the singers they are imitating, saying "sobrang kaboses," adding in jest, "kaamoy pa nga eh, kahininga."

"Superstar Duets" is directed by the iconic director Bert de Leon every Saturday night, beginning this September 3 right after "Magpakailanman."
