Filipino astronaut aspirant Evan Ray Datuin passes G Force Training
On the second day of actual Space Camp training, AXE Apollo
Team Philippines members continued to take on AXE Apollo Space Academy tests at
the Kennedy Space Center in Orlando, Florida, USA.
At the G Force Training facility, Evan Ray Datuin suited up,
strapped in and “blasted off” inside an interactive centrifuge machine that
gave him the feeling of being in space as his body absorbed the physical
pressure of four times the force of gravity (4Gs).
Prior to the exciting G Force training, Evan and the rest of
the astronaut aspirants took the Kennedy Space Center tour where they visited
the vehicle assembly building, launch pads A and B and saw up-close a gigantic
Saturn V rocket.
