Stars Rock, Fans Rule at the Yahoo! OMG! Awards 2013 #OMGAwardsPH
A total of 9, 258, 508 votes were cast in a summary of 22 categories... tsk! These figures proved that it had surpassed this year's expectations! Such a sweet triumph not only for the Yahoo! Philippines organizers, but also to the STARS who really ROCKED and to the FANS who RULED!
Yahoo! OMG Awards 2013, on its third year, had a whopping 12,000 attendees composed of VIPs, celebrities, media figures, and of course, the fans at the SM Mall of Asia Arena last Friday, July 19, 2013.
To take you to the very glittery, glam, fab and absolutely purplish night of the stars... here are some of the highlights and sidelights and of course, the official list of the winners at the Yahoo! OMG! Awards 2013.

TV5's Artista Academy Best Actor and Actress, Vin Abrenica and Sophie Albert

The Ultimate Concert King Gary Valenciano ignited and rocked the house together with multi-awarded hip-hop group, the Philippine All Stars
Can't stop the fire burning... here comes international artist and host, Billy Crawford with another high-energy special number
Versatile actor and host, Mr. Edu Manzano was joined by Billy as the main hosts of the program
For a fresh start, Yahoo! OMG Awards had given Papa Jack as the Male DJ of the Year and Nicole Hyala at the Female DJ of the Year awards. Other awards distributed were:
Radio Station of the Year: Barangay LS 97.1
Radio Show of the Year: Tambalan (90.7)
Female TV Host: Toni Gonzaga
Actress of the Year: angel Locsin
Breakthrough Actress of the Year: Kathryn Bernardo
Movie of the Year: It Takes a Man and a Woman
Love team of the Year: Kim Chiu and Xian Lim
Teleserye of the Year: 'Ina, Kapatid, Anak'
Sexy sirens Lovi Poe and Solenn Heusaff sizzled the night away with a very alluring number
Voted as the Child Star of the Year, cutie girl Ryzza Mae Dizon wooed the audience as she accepts the award with her wit and charm. She also did her very famous "walling" and her "no acting" speech inspired by Ms. Jaclyn Jose (according to her). She went up the stage thrice to also accept the Male TV Host of the Year for Vic "Bossing" Sotto and Best Noontime Show for Eat Bulaga.

Voted as the Male and Female Performer of the Year, Julie Anne San Jose and Elmo Magalona on stage to accept their award
A rock number by Franco rock supergroup
Three years in a row winners of Comedian and Comedienne of the Year Awards, Vice Ganda and Eugene Domingo on stage to give their acceptance speech. After a week of "no talking" as per advised by his doctor, Vice had spoken here at the Yahoo! OMG! Awards again!
Actor of the Year, the very versatile and charming Coco Martin during his acceptance speech, that really made everyone's night very memorable and complete! (including yours truly hihi)
Ms. Korina Sanchez accepted the News and Public Affairs of the Year Award for TV Patrol
Garnering a total votes of 316, 772... Enrique Gil bagged the Breakthrough Actor of the Year! Congrats!
Special duet numbers were presented by Erik Santos and Yeng Constantino and another from Christian Bautista and Rachel Ann Go. And a solo novelty act by the talented Jon Santos who acted as Gov. Vilma Santos at the event.

Voted as Fan Club of the Year, with a total of 244, 531 votes, Congrats JuliElmo Pexers!
Garnered a total of 182, 744, the FHM's Sexiest is also the Yahoo! OMG's Celebrity of the Year awardee, the beautiful Marian Rivera. Congrats!
To wrap up the night's event, international artist, Charice Pempengco who's sporting a new look (guess this is way better), sparkled during her two song numbers.
The third annual Yahoo! OMG! Awards
ceremony recognized winners from 22 categories, selected through popular search
queries and polling methods online on Yahoo!’s leading entertainment property
in the Philippines. OMG! official results were tallied via online and SMS
voting.
