Let me start with the experience I had during its grand launch held just recently. It was a very high- falutin' night of enticing food, fine wine, good company and of course, elegant setting. SumoSam Olympia is the 25th store which located at the center of Makati City at the Lower Ground Ground Floor of Somerset Building in Makati Ave. cor. Sto. Thomas St., Urdaneta, Makati City. This newest and finest SumoSam store is truly a one of a kind restaurant. Following the tenet of "Big Is Beautiful," this is the biggest location to date with a 300 sqm of dining space which can accommodate up to 250 guests (standing). It has 3 divisions, which can be enclosed separately for private bookings or the entire resto can be booked for bigger functions.

Another unforgettable experience I had during that night was, for the very first time, in my numerous dinings at SumoSam, I've seen Marvin Agustin. He's not only an arm reach away from me but I succeeded to be at least somewhat closer than that...

You can order all the bestsellers, among them, the Ebi Tempura, Chicken Teriyaki, and Spicy Tuna Salad, and Seafood Yakisoba can be ordered.  New on the menu and just in time for summer, Sumo Sam has come up with refreshing ice pops with interesting flavors such as green tea, choco banana, pistachio, red bean and black sesame. Worth trying is the trio of flavors served in cubes on a small tray -- wasabi with nori garnishing, avocado with slivers of mango, and strawberry flavor.  And on my next visit, I'm gonna try those ice pops!
