Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition's Final "Hands-down"

It all originated from the “MasterChef” franchise with the U.K. version of the show, and the American version stars celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay. “Junior MasterChef Pinoy Editon” will soon reach its final edition this Saturday, February 18 and it’s entitled, “Junior MasterChef Pinoy Edition Finale: The Live Cook-Off.”
This kiddie cooking show has become very successful catering the aspiring kids’ skills in cooking, creativity, assertiveness, sportsmanship, patience and camaraderie among themselves. Through this program, they were able to capture everyone’s curious minds (including yours truly), and lending inspiration to other aspiring kids and “wanna-be” chefs.

Top six included Kyle Adrian Imao, 12, from Marikina, Philip Dave Amarillo, 13, from Cebu, Mika Kristina Tanaka, 10, from Quezon City, Antonio Carlos “Jobim” Jalbuena, 12, from Makati, who’s one of my personal favorites since the show started ;-), Louise Emmanuelle Mabulo, 12, from Naga City and Caitlin Faye Taluban, 12, from Quezon City. Last Sunday, Caitlin (my other fave) and wildcard winner Louise were eliminated - :-( The top four, Kyle, Jobim, Mika and Philip wowed the host-judges with their crab dishes.

Special thanks to my bet, Jobim for this picture ;-)

The top four finalists will be experiencing for the first time, a live cook-off challenge. The chosen lucky grand winner will be receiving a P1.5 million worth of culinary scholarships and a whooping P1-million cash prize.
The celebrity host, Judy Ann Santos- Agoncillo has confirmed the news that ABS-CBN is getting the franchise for the adult version of the hit cooking show, “MasterChef,” the next “cooking partners” of Filipino viewers and followers. The award-winning actress hopes to have a second season of JMC (Junior Master Chef).

She might be working again with the three chef-judges, Fern Aracama, Rolando Laudico and JP Anglo for “MasterChef.” “Mukhang kaming apat pa rin ang magkakasama,” Judy Ann said. She also revealed that she may also start acting again and will do a TV series under ABS-CBN. “I really miss acting,” she confessed.
