"E-Boy" A story about a boy trapped in a Robot's body

This is not just an ordinary tele-serye, it's a fanta-serye that is slated to have its pilot episode today, January 30, Monday as ABS-CBN's newest Primetime Bida, "E-Boy," starring MMFF 2011 Best Child Performer, Bugoy Cariño as the title role.

The first time I saw Bugoy was in a clothing event for kids in a popular mall in Ortigas. He was with his "Goin' Bulilit" co-talents. We had no questions about his dancing prowess, he dances like Joshua Zamora (my fave!) of the famed Maneuvers dance group and he won't be definitely left behind by the quick and juicy moves of Gab Valenciano, Rayver Cruz, John Pratts, Sam Concepcion and the likes.

There was one thing that is noticeable about this child wonder; he also speaks and acts like a mature person. And basing from the comments and descriptions of the casts of "E-Boy," during the tele-serye's presscon held at Dolphy theater in ABS-CBN compound, my impression of Bugoy has been confirmed!

Honestly, I really felt glad for Bugoy upon learning that he has a new project for Channel 2 with him as the title role. I must also commend him for his very natural performance in Shake, Rattle and Roll 13 - Tamawo episode with Maricar Reyes and Zanjoe Marudo. I know he would make it as best child performer after watching him (he was my ultimate bet!) and since he deserves more than just a recognition, kudos to ABS-CBN for giving this very talented child, the "spotlight" as "E-Boy" surfaces.

Follow the heart-warming story of "E-Boy", a child robot who was given human characteristics that led him to a journey where he will learn what being human is all about. Through his real-life experiences, he will realize that being human isn't just about having flesh and blood, but more importantly, it is about being part of a family, building friendships, and loving unconditionally.

Bugoy is joined by seasoned actors Ariel Rivera, Jomari Yllana, Agot Isidro, Valerie Concepcion, Jaime Fabregas, Chinggoy Alonzo and Pen Medina. It will also star Blythe Gorostiza, Arjo Atazde, Carme Sanchez, Akiko Solon, Bryan Santos and child stars Maliksi Morales and introducing Deydey Amansec. This is directed by FM Reyes and Nick Olanka, the makers of the phenomenal hit series "Lobo" and "Imortal."
